UN rep applauds Azerbaijan-Armenia border agreements at World Forum

I greatly appreciate the agreements reached between Azerbaijan and Armenia regarding the delimitation of their state border.

Speaking at the opening ceremony of the VI World Forum on Intercultural Dialogue in Baku on May 1, High Representative of the UN Alliance of Civilizations Miguel Angel Moratinos acknowledged this important step taken by the leaders of both countries, notably President Ilham Aliyev, Report informs.

Moratinos also addressed the situation in the Middle East, emphasizing the pressing need to resolve the conflicts in the region and bring an end to the ongoing wars.
