Pakistan offers Azerbaijan COP29-related technical assistance
Special Assistant to Pakistan's Prime Minister Romina Khurshid Alam held a meeting with Azerbaijani Ambassador to Islamabad Hazar Farhadov to discuss the upcoming COP29 global climate summit to be held in Baku in November this year.
The parties promised to maintain close cooperation in preparation for COP29 and after it, as well as pledged to speak with a unified position at the global summit. Pakistan has offered Azerbaijan all the technical expertise it needs in connection with COP29, Caliber.Az reports, citing the Pakistani newspaper Daily Parliament Times.
Thanking for the offer, the Ambassador said that our goals coincide, which means that our future will inevitably coincide. Farhadov noted that Azerbaijan values ties with Pakistan very much.
Both sides reiterated the need for consistent interaction, exchange of views to strengthen business, trade and sustainable development.
