Number of Armenian-laid landmine victims reaches 342 since 2020 Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry says
The Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry has said that landmines, indiscriminately deployed by Armenia, are continuing to pose a threat to innocent civilians.
“Yet another civilian was hit by a landmine, raising the number of victims to 342 since 2020. All should put pressure on Armenia to get accurate landmine maps information,” the ministry said on X, Caliber.Az reports.
To recap, on January 21, at about 13:30, the police received information about a mine explosion in Aghdam District. A resident of Aghjabadi District, Faig Abishov, 1980, was wounded in the leg. He was evacuated to the hospital by police officers.
Landmines, indiscriminately deployed by Armenia, are continuing to pose a threat to innocent civilians.
