Mine contamination hinders search for missing persons – official

Currently, one of the main factors hindering the search for missing persons is the contamination of territories with land mines.

Eldar Samadov, deputy head of the working group under the State Commission on Prisoners of War and Missing Citizens, said at today's briefing, Report informs.

“Unfortunately, Armenia does not provide information about the burial places of the missing,” he noted.
