Baku to host space technology conf for Central Asian region
A conference focusing on space technologies is slated to take place in Baku.
The Space Technology Conference (STC2024) will convene next year, drawing together key figures from the space industry across the Central Asian region, Trend reports, citing the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport of Azerbaijan that this announcement emerged during the third meeting of heads of space agencies of member countries of the Organisation of Turkic States (OTS).
During the meeting, it was emphasized that building on the success of prior global space events, the upcoming gathering of space agencies is scheduled to be hosted in Baku next year.
This conference, now in its third iteration, is being orchestrated by the Turkish Space Agency. The third meeting of heads of space agencies of OTS member countries is unfolding alongside the conference, with representatives from Azerbaijan, Türkiye, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, and observer country Hungary in attendance.
