Baku, Budapest cement economic ties, sign protocol

A protocol was signed following the 10th meeting of the joint Azerbaijani-Hungarian Intergovernmental Commission on economic cooperation.

Co-chairman of the commission, Labor Minister Sahil Babayev, and co-chairman of the commission, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade of Hungary Peter Szijjarto signed the document, Report says.

Sahil Babayev emphasized that Azerbaijani-Hungarian cooperation is at the highest level.

“We observe it in all spheres. Hungary supported Azerbaijan both during the occupation and after the liberation of our country's territories.”

He added that cooperation between Azerbaijan and Hungary in the energy sector is also expanding.
