Azerbaijani Wrestling chief meets Int’l Federation president

President of the Azerbaijani Wrestling Federation, Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov met President of the International Wrestling Federation Nenad Lalovic.

At the meeting, Jabbarov briefed Lalovic in on high-level state support for the development of wrestling in Azerbaijan, as well as the successes achieved by Azerbaijani athletes at prestigious international competitions.

"They stressed the importance of holding the European qualification tournament in Azerbaijan, which is of a license nature for the upcoming Paris-2024 Summer Olympic Games," the report said.
